現在、世界では10年前の10倍の太陽光発電が行われており、さらに、国連の2050年のネットゼロ目標の達成が軌道に乗っている唯一のエネルギー源が太陽光発電だそうです。
この記事では、PV パネルを建設する 2 つの驚くべき太陽光発電プロジェクトを調査しています。
1つ目は、米国のスーパーマーケット大手ウォルマートが所有する世界最大の駐車場の 1 つで行われていて、屋根にソーラーパネルを使用して得られた電気はスーパーマーケットで使用したり、電気自動車を充電するために顧客に無料で提供したりしているそうです。
2 つ目は、22,000 マイル離れた宇宙空間にソーラーパネルを建設する計画を立てているそうです。
宇宙のソーラーパネルは地球上の13倍の電力を生成すると考えられているそうです。
日本では、電気自動車のための充電箇所が少ないことも普及しない1つと言われていますが、ショッピングモールで無料で、充電できると普及しそうですね。
