水素自動車の話は耳にしますが、水素列車が開発されているのは知りませんでした。
ドイツで運行されていますが、製造元はフランスなんですね。
ドイツは、ロシア産の石油・ガス輸入から脱却しようとしているので、それにかわる資源の開発が必要です。
水素を燃料とする列車は、フランス、ポーランド、スウェーデン、オーストリアなどでも実験が行われているそうです。
日本でも2030年に向けてJR東海が水素ハイブリッド電車「HYBARI」の試験が進められているようです。
走行時に二酸化炭素を発生させないのが特徴だそうです。
先生からは、なぜこのトピックが世界にとって重要なのでしょうか?と質問されましたが、時間切れのため次回に持ち越すことにしました。
